10 Rules of composition

1) Rule of thirds

The flowers and the background are taken by the camera using the grid. I have made sure the flowers fall in between the grids to make the flowers the subject. So they fall under the rule of thirds.

2)The Golden Ratio

The photo can be used as it is in a golden spiral, and the subject is in the center with more details.

3) Leading lines

This picture creates a leading line towards the top of the stairs, which creates an interesting point of interest.

4)Diagonals

The subject in the photo is diagonal, which creates a different composition and makes it look different from the still photo.

5)Frame within a frame

In this photo, take a frame within the frame, where the first frame is the camera and the other is the window of the airplane, which shows the wing of the plane and the sunrise.

6)Figure to ground

This photo focuses on the subject and blues the background, where it is solely focused on the subject.

7)Fill the Frame

The subject has filled the frame, and the floor complements the subject; it also balances the photo.

8)Center dominant eye

Both of the subjects have placed their dominant eye in the center of the photo.

9) Patterns and repetition

The books and the way they have been kept on the shelf create patterns and repetition.

10)Symmetry and asymmetry

The subject is towards the left or side, which makes it an asymmetry.

The subject is in the center, and the background has an equal amount of balance in the photo. This can be a symmetry.
